Dr. Natalie Colicci is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Connecticut and a licensed Nutritionist in both Connecticut and Florida. She is a Certified Acupuncture Practitioner and Hypnotherapist as well. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, with a minor in Chemistry, at the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT. Dr. Colicci attended medical school at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and received her Masters of Science in Clinical Human Nutrition from the Nutrition Institute at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT.
Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Colicci trained with her mentor, world renowned Naturopathic Physician and author of Eat Right 4 Your Type (The Blood Type Diet) and The Genotype Diet, Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo. This mentorship included advanced studies in Generative Medicine and Nurtigenomics, treating patients in all stages of life from all over the world.
Dr. Colicci has a Master Level certification from the Institute of Human Individuality and the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists. She has completed certification in the First Line Therapy therapeutic lifestyle medicine program and Longevity Through Fasting and Nutrition. She completed a certificate in Nutrigenomics: Genetic Testing for Personalized Nutrition with the Dietitians of Canada. She completed her certification as a hypnotherapist, with a specialized certification in Hypnotic Pain Relief, from the National Hypnotherapy Training Center in Albuquerque, NM. She has completed specialized training in mold exposure treatment. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the International Medical and Dental Hypnosis Association (IMDHA) , the Connecticut Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Certification Board of Nutrition Specialists, and the American Nutrition Association.
Dr. Colicci incorporates a combination of generative medicine, botanical medicine, functional nutrition and acupuncture when treating her patients. She has extensive experience in gastrointestinal and endocrine disorders as well as weight management. She specializes in chronic and autoimmune disease. Dr. Colicci makes continuing education a priority to ensure her patients benefit from the newest advancements in clinical research.
Dr. Zoe Hickson is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Connecticut, as well as a Certified Acupuncture Practioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her medical training at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
During Dr. Hickson’s clinical education, she was extensively trained in mind body counseling, nutritional medicine, women’s health, autoimmune disease, metabolic disorders, integrated cancer treatment and prevention, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine imbalances and food allergy/sensitivity analysis. Her clinical training has provided her experience in pediatrics through geriatrics.
Upon graduation, Dr. Hickson continued her clinical training through a mentorship with Dr. Colicci. This mentorship included extensive training in nutrigenomics, incorporating both Eat Right 4 Your Type (The Blood Type Diet) and The Genotype Diet, as well as individualized holistic medicine with a foundation in science.
Dr. Hickson is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Her areas of specialty include women’s health, and treatment of inflammatory, endocrine and metabolic disorders through functional, botanical and nutritional medicine.
Dr. Angel Abraham is a licensed and dedicated Naturopathic Physician in Connecticut. She earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Abraham also completed extensive studies in the Nutrition and Integrative Health Graduate Program at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, along with earning undergraduate degrees in English and Psychology at SUNY.
Passionate about treating the whole person, Dr. Abraham works with patients of all backgrounds, providing compassionate care that supports physical, social, and emotional well-being.
Her specialties include detoxification/environmental medicine, and immune-related diseases. She treats a wide range of conditions including allergies, chronic skin disorders (eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa), autoimmune conditions, and chronic post-viral syndromes. As a nutrition expert, Dr. Abraham is passionate about helping patients who value the healing power of food.
Inspired by her love of biology and the human body’s innate ability to heal, Dr. Abraham's journey into Naturopathic Medicine stems from personal experiences. She has successfully managed her own health challenges, including PCOS and hypothyroidism, using nutrition and mindfulness.
Dr. Abraham is excited to support and guide her patients on their unique paths to wellness, empowering them to achieve long-lasting health.
Dr. Zangara is both a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Connecticut and New York. Dr. Zangara attended Stony Brook University, in New York where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Italian/Spanish literature and Education. She completed her medical training at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and received her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Institute at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT.
After graduating and receiving her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Zangara helped her mentor, world renowned author and physician Dr. Peter D’Adamo, launch his new clinic, where she practiced until its recent closing in June 2018.
Dr. Zangara is versed in Generative medicine, The Blood Type and GenoType Diets, Nutrigenomic consultations, and Microbiome analyses, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has advanced training in the application of acupuncture techniques in the area of infertility challenges of both men and women.
Dr. Zangara has a Master Level certification from the Institute of Human Individuality. She has completed certification in the First Line Therapy therapeutic lifestyle medicine program. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Connecticut Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and serves on the board for the Institute of Naturopathic Generative Medicine.
Dr. Alena Bochi is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Connecticut. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pace University in Westchester, New York, where she received a full scholarship to play tennis. Dr. Bochi attended medical school at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Connecticut. She is currently finishing her Master of Science at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute, after which she intends to pursue a Master of Science in Chinese Medicine.
During her clinical education, Dr. Bochi studied with world renowned Naturopathic Physician and author Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, where she learned Generative Medicine, The Blood Type and GenoType Diets, Nutrigenomics and Microbiome analyses.
Dr. Bochi has completed a certification in the First line Therapy therapeutic lifestyle medicine program and as well as a Personal Training Certification through The National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Bochi is fluent in Spanish.
Jaclyn Conelius holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Fairfield University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Yale School of Nursing, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science from the University of Connecticut.
She has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2002 in multiple outpatient areas such as urgent care, cardiology, and primary care. Her clinical expertise is preventive cardiology and autoimmune thyroid disorders. She has completed an herbal fellowship with the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine and is T3 certified. She is active on multiple professional boards and a member of the Holistic Nursing Society. She has published multiple peer reviewed articles and is an avid researcher. She believes that restorative holistic medicine in patient management is imperative in the healing process.
Dr. Tortorella licensed Chiropractic Physician in the state of Connecticut. He attended Stony Brook University in New York, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He completed his doctorate at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
Dr Tortorella has earned a certification as a Certified Acupuncture Practitioner, is certified in Webster Technique for pregnant mothers, and holds a Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Fitness Certification. He is currently pursuing a certification in pediatric chiropractic. His concentrations in practice include biomechanics, human performance, sports performance, and total wellness.
Dr. Tortorella is also an adjunct professor of spinal anatomy, head and neck anatomy, and multiple chiropractic technique courses at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. He has lectured to students and doctors on the topics of biomechanics and functional neurology and enjoys volunteering as an assistant wrestling coach.
Angela Chandler joins our practice virtually from Grand Rapids, MI. She is a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach and personal trainer with over two decades of experience taking exceptional care of people - mind, body, and spirit, including, but not limited to those with cardio-metabolic diseases, pre and post bariatric procedures, and pregnancy. She is experienced in developing and implementing progressive programs for patients of all ages.
Her happy place is learning for professional development, self-improvement, connecting with others and sharing knowledge. She loves to laugh because it's a reflection of happiness and friendship. Angela thrives on creating healthy relationships and surrounding herself with positive people, places, and things! She understands intuitive introverts because she is one. She has a love for listening to others for deeper understanding and is passionate about guiding others toward becoming their best self.
Under supervision of Dr. Colicci and Jaclyn Conelius, Angela leads our health and wellness coaching programs.
